Attorney Myzia’s career includes time working as an Assistant State’s Attorney, familiarizing himself with both the criminal and traffic code in Illinois and the nuances of presenting such cases for hearing and trial. As an Assistant State’s Attorney, Mr. Myzia realized that the name printed above the title “Defendant” was much more important than the caption itself. Every person charged in a criminal case is different. Sometimes, citizens get caught up in the legal system. That legal system can be overwhelming and stressful. That does not necessarily mean that citizen is a criminal. Bad things can happen to good people.

Attorney Myzia graduated with a Magna Cum Laude designation from Colorado State University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History. Attorney Myzia then graduated with Cum Laude honors from Northern Illinois University’s College of Law in 2002.
